Galingas from Lituania have presented a new tool for chiptuning on Mercedes-Benz Trucks without opening the ECU, it works over diagnostic port. It is called MB Truck Explorer.
Some info regarding MB Truck Explorer:
Software licencing is based on packs.
Pack A: for work with memory only (flash and eeproms).
Pack B immo transponder programming/management
Pack C – authorization code calculation (VeDoc/FDok based).
Pack A: The software reads/writes flash and eeproms by selecting needed procedures.
Sw automatically detects the type of memory (29f200/400 etc., psop/tsop etc.) and selects the options for work. It supports all MB Trucks with Temic ECUs, except Temic ECU w/o flash on board (will be added soon) and new 2012 Actros ECU.
